Welcome to Friendship Circle

The Friendship Circle extends a helping hand to families who have children with special needs and involves them in a full range of social and Judaic experiences. The Circle's unique formula introduces teenage volunteers to the children and their families, and through the shared experiences, all are enriched.

The Friendship Circle is made up of five parts: volunteers, children, parents, staff, and supporters.
The true beauty of the Circle is how we all link together to form a seamless circle of friendship.

Our Mission

The Friendship Circle's mission is to bring friends and smiles to children with special needs and peace of mind to their parents; to foster the values of volunteerism and compassion among our youth and to ultimately realize the community's responsibility for its members with special needs.

The parents use this opportunity to enjoy a weekly respite as their child basks in the friendship of the volunteer.

The multi-faceted activities include music, stories, crafts, karate and interaction with other children. In an intimate setting the children have the opportunity to learn the values, songs and traditions of our Jewish heritage.
